In the middle of reading A Sweet Lullaby for World Music by Steven Feld.  I'll let her write my response paper.

  1. #1 Photo: I love your still life shots. Mirrors and reflections are cool. Also the dust on the glass adds a great texture.
#2 Photo: I like paintings that are not perfect....the dead and dying is also part of like, as sad as that sounds. Check out paintings called vanities. Interesting idea on impermanence of life. Don't mean to be morbid but I find it interesting.

#3 Photo: Black and white with movement...nice!
#4: Screened view of ( I assume) sunset? In the west.
#5: Looks like a kitty in charge.

  2. Yeah, for picture no. 2, I am sad to say my shamrock plant frequently looks this way and I'm not sure why. I moved it by the window for the first time to see if it needs more light than I think it does.

I like the sunset picture a lot. it definitely gives me the feeling I always get when I look out my window. Sometimes I see some incredible sunsets and views of the sky, but the stuff immediately out my window is pretty gross-looking. not everything is pretty, I guess.

The kitty is always in charge.
